Belle and the Bear began several years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. I'd been living in Durango with my boyfriend, living the step mom life to his oldest daughter, Keara Belle, and finishing school as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Ever since I can remember I have always had a revolving handful of projects going on at the same time. While I love to explore the mountains and paddleboard the nearby lakes, one of my favorite past times is binge watching Dateline and working on a project. I am constantly looking for new decor to create, scrapbooks to make and short music videos of my adventures in the San Juan Mountains.

After tons of encouragement from family and friends for several years, I decided to finally start my own shop. I took one look at the 8 week old gummy bear growing in my belly and knew him and his big sis would be the inspiration for my business name -

Belle and the Bear was born and the rest is history!
